Covering the Bases: SCSS Staff Chaperones Meet

L-R: Mr Gartner, Mr Kreiner, Mr Alexander, Mrs Gartner, Mrs Kreiner, Mrs Alexander, Mr Harris and Mr Thio
By now, you ought to know that our fearless leader we all know dearly as “Mrs Gartner” is one who covers the bases.
Details, details – and more details. It’s the ONLY way you secure a successful choir trip, especially one involving 87 individuals!
Tonight, Mrs Gartner met with all the SCSS Staff Chaperones (less Mrs Pittman, who is out-of-state at the time of writing) to discuss last-minute details before the group meets at CVG on Tuesday morning for our trip to Spain. Hosted by Mr & Mrs Kevin Kreiner at their lovely home in Colerain Township, the informal meeting was just what each of us teachers needed: a time to relax, laugh – and prepare for the big trip abroad.
Topics covered were:
- the final itinerary
- chaperone-student assignments
- bus assignments
- great-lookin’ ladies shoes to buy in Spain
- how to get ample sleep amidst Thio’s incredible snoring (Sorry, Mr Harris)
- what kind of hats Mr Alexander and Mr Harris will purchase this trip
- and other important matters
When the meeting adjourned, the SCSS Staff Chaperones left confident that THIS trip to Spain was going to be nothing less than … PHENOMENAL.
