Day 2:
Bonjour from Sacre Coeur!
Up today after a great power nap! On the bus by 9am and off to St Chappelle,Notre Dame and now Montmarte. Pain du chocolat is the favorite of the day. Breakfast will never be the same at home without it. Everyone is in the swing of group travel now. Celia our guide is doing a wonderful job managing all of us. Have I mentioned pain du chocolate???? But now that our little snack break is over you must try a nutella banana crepe if you are in the backyard of Montmarte. (think this was a Rick Steves suggestion!). See pictures of before and after. Back on the bus by 2:00 for our drive to Versailles. Participating in the Mass at 6:30 and then a full concert at 8:30. Will let you know how it goes. Again, a great time and thank you!
sitting in the lobby of the hotel getting ready to go walk the halls to check on the kids. WHAT A FIRST PERFORMANCE! First you should have seen us at Versailles. We had three guides for 90 of us and then 20000 other people! No kidding! Then off to dinnernabit late and they served us in 40 minutes. Beef Bourgiognon…..very well prepared! Too bad we had to experience it a la FAST food. Then off to the mass. Our audience was incredible. Wait until your kids share the stories! They took a good will offering and wanted to give it to US!!!!! We love our French friends!
See crepe pic below!!!!!!
Until tomorrow and thank you!

Thank you all for singing at mass and for the wonderful concert yesterday night!!! We were all impressed, it is certainly the best concert I ever heard so far in this church !!!
Best wishes for the rest of you tour !!!
So proud of you ladies and gents! Sing your little hearts out– I am sure you are having an amazing time and I cannot wait to hear all about it. Extra love to baby sis Kara Marth and my sweet Mother.
What fun to experience the trip with you, sans the calories! I’m convinced that a song in your heart in addition to the songs you sing create an attitude that enhances your “togetherness” and diminishes the travel woes. God’s speed to you all!
Montemarte!! So beautiful, how were those stairs?!
