Linda Gartner would like to dedicate this year’s Sycamore Community Summer Singer’s tour to her mentor, Dr. Ivan Trusler. Dr. Trusler was the Director of the Bowling Green State University Collegiate Chorale in 1979 when Mrs. Gartner first had the opportunity to experience first hand the excitement and thrill of traveling to Europe to perform in some of the finest venues the country had to offer.  If it had not been for the outstanding leadership and inspiration of Dr. Trulser, SCSS would not exist today.
